Federal Government extends 12.5% tax offset to include television

In this week’s Federal Budget, the Australian Government has increased its commitment to attracting television production to Australia by extending the 12.5% tax offset for feature film to include high budget television series. The TV tax rebate will give back to investors 12.5% of their total contribution to locally made high-budget television. Details of the eligibility criteria are yet to be announced.
