International Festivals call for entries
The American Museum of Natural History's Margaret Mead Film and Video Festival celebrates its 28th year as the premier festival in the US for cultural documentaries. Entries are due by 31 May and the Festival will consider all non-fiction films and videos produced in 2003 or 2004, including shorts, experimental films and animation. For application forms and further info visit www.amnh.org/mead
The Montreal World Film Festival is calling for short film submissions by 19 June and feature film submissions by 24 July. Visit http://www.ffm-montreal.org/en_index.html for application details. If your film is successful in gaining entry into either of these festivals, you may be eligible for travel assistance from Film Victoria's International Travel Grant program.
