An industry panel of 4 will each present an overview on how they can assist filmmakers and what is required legally for filming in public spaces in Victoria.

Stephen Gambetta from the Victorian Police Department will talk about how the police can assist with Uniform/Equipment hire, Traffic management, Research advice, etc.

A representative from the City of Melbourne will speak about permits, road closures, legalities, etc.

A speaker from the Melbourne Film Office will discuss their involvement from a locations perspective.

John Fox a licensed armourer with over 25 years industry experience will discuss safety related issues in terms of using firearms and filming in public spaces.

This evening seminar is suitable for producers, production managers,
production assistants, location staff, documentary filmmakers and anyone who is proposing a film shoot that will involve filming in exterior public spaces.
