Film Victoria has announced it will provide Production Investment for a new telemovie, drama series and two-part documentary. This support is a result of the latest round of applications assessed through Film Victoria’s Industry Production Investment program.

Burberry Productions will film a 22 part one-hour TV drama series, Last Man Standing. The new series will explore the sexual and emotional terrain or three twenty-something males and will screen on Channel 7. Sue Edwards and Marieke Hardy are producers with Ewan Burnett and John Holmes as Executive Producers. Marieke is also a writer of the series.

Call me mum is a 75 minute telemovie produced by Michael McMahon of Big and Little Films, directed by Margot Nash and written by Kathleen Mary Fallon. The telemovie is the powerful story of how complex race relations affect the lives of one Australian family and will premier on SBS.

Also supported is Revealing Gallipoli, a new two-part 54 minute documentary that investigates the folklore of Gallipolli from the perspective of both Australian and non-Australian soldiers. ABC will show the documentary produced by Stephen Amezdroz and Tony Wright of Gargoyle.  Wain Fimeri has written the project and will also direct.
