Marketing Talk with Bird Runningwater — Programmer with the Sundance Film Festival
June 2004
The AFC presents a Marketing Talk with Bird Runningwater, Programmer for the Sundance Film Festival and an opportunity to hear filmmakers talk about their experience of screening their films at Sundance. Although Australian films are ineligible to screen in Sundance's competition strand, a well received screening and positive press review within the Premiere, World Cinema and Shorts Programs of Sundance can greatly benefit a film's positioning for the US. This prestigious festival has screened over 40 Australian titles within the last 10 years including, Australian Rules, One Night the Moon, Chopper and The Dish as well as short films like Oscar winner Harvie Krumpet.
Seating is Limited and RSVP is essential Tel: 03 9347 2573.
The Event is held on Thursday 24 June from 6-8pm at Nova Cinema, 380 Lygon Street Carlton
