Motel
Synopsis
Motel - the place you go when time is short, to meet friends and lovers grown strange; to slide between the future and the past; to watch dreams form and blow apart.
'Agency Time'- is one of the films in the Tryptich - 'Motel' shot partly on location near Bachus Marsh chosen for its unique landscape and a council that encourages film production. Directed by Paul Ritchard
The 'Motel Tryptich' is a collaborative, practise based research project coming out of RMIT, School of Applied Communication (Media) and the School of Architecture & Design (Interior Design). It is led by film-makers David Carlin, Paul Ritchard and Christine Rogers and interior designers Roger Kemp and Anthony Fryatt involving the writing and production of a tryptich of short films set around a nondescript modernist motel somewhere outside an Australian city.
